Residential & Hospitality

Airtest projects include high-rise apartments/condominiums, high-rise hotels/resorts, as well as, low-rise apartments/condominiums, and low-rise hotels. These kinds of projects can be from basic to extraordinarily complex depending on how they are ventilated. Airtest is very experienced and adept at handling these kinds of projects.

Skyline at First Hill

Skyline is a Retirement Community consisting of two 26-story towers serving independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care needs. In addition to TAB, Airtest provided commissioning services for the buildings, including the smoke control systems.

Great Wolf Lodge, Grand Mound, WA.

The integration of a hotel and a 60,000 square foot indoor water park in the same facility presented a challenge to the design and construction teams. Serious consideration needed to be focused on the effects of the pool treatment chemicals on the rest of the building, as they are naturally corrosive. Airtest took extra care with the TAB of the ventilation systems to protect the structure from corrosion caused by these chemicals and ensure the ventilation system was operating as the design intended.

Bellevue Towers, Bellevue

The Bellevue Towers are a 2 tower, 45 Story residential complex, with retail tenants at street level. Airtest performed the TAB of the HVAC system, as well as the smoke control systems commissioning prior to special inspection. Of particular interest, Airtest recognized the opportunity to improve the performance of the smoke control systems performance by the addition of variable frequency drives (VFD’s). This was accomplished in cooperation with the mechanical contractor, and ultimately resulted in the improved flexibility and performance of the building smoke control system.
